Planetary Protection
Whizteam Meteor Courses upholds strict data privacy protocols alongside the international Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) planetary protection mandates governing forward and backward contamination.
1. Scope and Governance
This privacy policy establishes how whizteammeteor.courses collects, processes, and safeguards information when users interact with our educational mission simulators, dispatch tools, and course modules. We adhere strictly to the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data Collection Minimization
We do not require account registration to read our technical research. When you interact with the client-side Telemetry Dispatcher tool, processing occurs purely within your browser memory. No telemetry logs, callsigns, or simulation inputs are transmitted to external commercial profiling servers.
3. Server Logs and Technical Metrics
Our hosting infrastructure records minimal standard HTTP transmission logs (including IP addresses, user-agent strings, and request timestamps) solely for DDoS mitigation, system integrity audits, and load optimization. These logs are purged automatically every 30 days.
4. COSPAR Planetary Protection Alignment
In our aerospace curriculum, we emphasize Category IV covenants regarding missions to Mars: safeguarding Special Regions that may harbor potential sub-surface biological activity from terrestrial spore contamination. We advocate rigorous heat sterilization and vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) biocidal cleaning of all lander hardware.
5. Your Rights and Inquiries
Under applicable data protection frameworks, you maintain the right to access, rectify, or demand erasure of any correspondence submitted directly to us. Inquiries should be addressed to our data protection officer at: [email protected].
